MAKO Total Knee Replacement surgery patient from Canada - 1 year post-op

Okay, my name is Tim, one year post-op total knee replacement. What can I say? A year ago coming into here, I couldn't do the things I wanted to do in life and if I wanted to do anything at all, it was a knee brace, it was pain. You go for a walk, you come home, your knee's swollen. The walks were limited, life was limited. I couldn't do anything and I thought at my age this is not right. I researched Dr. Stone, watched the videos, just like the one you're watching here., ad I said, "This is for me."

Came down here from Canada, got my surgery. I can't say enough good. It's phenomenal. It is absolutely phenomenal. I can do anything and everything. Already today I've walked 10.7 kilometers just walking around. I can jump. I can run. I can move anything. I climb ladders. I can lift weights. I can crawl. I can do whatever I want to do. There's nothing stopping me. I'm back on the ice skating. I'm training hard in the gym, heavy weights, heavy squats, jump squats. There's nothing that this knee won't take. It's a complete machine. It's unbelievable.


One thing I will say is if you aren't willing to train yourself and push yourself prior to coming here a little bit and really hard after, you're not going to have the results that I got. You have to treat yourself like they say, like a professional athlete, and if you're not willing to do it, it's not going to work for you. Dr. Stone and the staff here, phenomenal, every one of them. I just can't say enough good. It's the best thing that's happened to me in my life.


I could never do this. My best I could go straight was probably there, and then to bend my leg, I could probably go to there. And now to sit on a bench, I can pull my leg right back, all the way back if I want. I can go totally straight and there's no pain. And I got a little bragging scar there but other than that, I mean, perfect, absolutely perfect. I just love it. I'm so happy. This is, like I said before, it's the best thing I've ever done.
