Radiology Technician

As head of our X-Ray and MRI Departments since 1994, Mark is responsible for all of the images taken at The Stone Clinic, and he consistently obtains high-quality images to aid in the proper diagnosis of our patients. Mark handles all of the shipping and receiving for the Clinic as well. Mark graduated in 1993 from City College of San Francisco with an AS degree in diagnostic medical imaging. In addition, Mark is a talented artist, and his work is proudly displayed at The Stone Clinic.

 

 

Allison Dastugue, PT DPTCasey Gonzalez, MS, ATC, LAT, FMS

Certified Athletic Trainer

Casey is a certified athletic trainer with 20+ years of experience in sports medicine, orthopaedic rehabilitation, injury prevention, and performance optimization. Recognized as the Most Outstanding Graduate from Shenandoah University, Casey holds a Master of Science in Athletic Training, along with degrees in Kinesiology and Anthropology from CSU, Fullerton. A former student-athlete at the University of New Mexico, Casey brings firsthand insight into the physical and mental demands of athletic performance.

Throughout a diverse career spanning collegiate athletics and clinical practice, Casey has provided medical coverage and rehabilitation for NCAA Division I and Division II programs, including football, basketball, soccer, baseball, tennis, golf, lacrosse, and wrestling. 

Driven by a commitment to evidence-based care, lifelong learning, and patient-centered treatment, Casey’s passion lies in empowering our athletes to live their lives fully, achieving their top performance, avoiding injury, and confidently participating in their favorite activities for a lifetime. 
 

Sydney Lopez, MS, ATC, RYT

Certified Athletic Trainer

Sydney Lopez is a certified athletic trainer with a B.A. in Exercise Science and Clinical Athletic Training from UNC Chapel Hill and an M.S. in Human Physiology and Athletic Medicine from the University of Oregon. She has extensive experience in sports rehabilitation at the professional and collegiate levels, including work with the New York Giants, University of Oregon Women’s Soccer and Lacrosse, and multiple UNC teams. Sydney also brings expertise in injury prevention and ergonomic consulting from her time at Tesla Motors. Lastly, she is a registered yoga teacher who often integrates yoga principles into rehab to support movement quality, recovery, and long-term resilience.

 

john v cruesJohn V. Crues, III, MD

Radiologist

John V Crues, III, MD, is a world-renowned radiologist, and he plays a significant role as a musculoskeletal specialist for many of The Stone Clinic’s patients. Dr. Crues received his MD at Harvard University, completed his internship at the University of Southern California in Internal Medicine, and completed a residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Internal Medicine and Radiology. He has authored numerous publications while continuing to actively participate in radiological societies such as the Radiological Society of North America, American College of Radiology, California Radiological Society, the International Society for Magnetic Resonance Medicine and the International Skeletal Society. Dr. Crues currently has ongoing research projects in orthopedic and rheumatologic MRI. He has published over 100 articles, 20 textbook chapters, and eight textbooks in the medical literature.
