Biologic Joint Repair

January 2007

The Stone Clinic has developed a new procedure, called Biologic Knee Replacement, to treat patients who suffer from knee arthritis. This treatment uses human tissue, rather than artificial replacement materials, to repair knee damage so patients are able to maintain an active lifestyle.

The procedure gained momentum among patients in 2006, and media also took note. We’ve included some links below, to point you in the direction of our work.

Good Morning America – “Help for Aching Knees: State of the Art”
Diane Sawyer discusses Dr. Stone’s Biologic Knee Replacement as the most cutting edge option for patients with osteoarthritis. Dr. Stone’s patient Jodi Lom recalls her rapid recovery from Biologic Knee Replacement and says it “changed her life.” 6 mins.

New York Times -- "Pop Goes The Tendon"
